ABC Daytime Production Services is a critical partner in the daily operation of The Prospect Studios. Production Services supports the production requirements for Daytime's award-winning soap opera, General Hospital. Jim Kussman, Executive Director of Daytime Production Services, explains, "The department supplies all of the on-stage labor for the show other than cameras, audio, and video. On a daily basis, the department assigns stage carpenters, property personnel and stage electricians to set, strike, and service the constant scenic demands of this Daytime show. Makeup artists and hair stylists keep the actors looking vibrant, youthful, and beautiful. The Wardrobe personnel keep pace with industry trends to make sure that our talent is dressed in the latest fashions. Stage Managers make sure the entire crew is in place and ready when the director yells 'action!' We provide these services five days a week, 50 weeks a year."
